Grill hot and fast over high heat or sear up in your trusty cast iron skillet with some garlic butter then in the oven to get to the right temp. Nothing says 'I love you' like a grass-fed and finished tender filet mignon.
The filet is naturally lean as it comes from the smaller end of the tenderloin. I recommend a digital meat thermometer to ensure accurate doneness.
